  • Is paint correction worth it on an older car or am I wasting money?

I found a car I like on a classifieds site, decent price, seems well maintained from the photos, but when I asked if I could get it inspected before buying the seller got weird about it, saying he doesn’t have time and the car is “perfect anyway”. That reaction alone makes me suspicious. I’ve always believed you don’t buy used without a proper inspection, but now I’m wondering if I’m being too cautious or if this guy is hiding something. A colleague mentioned I should just look into a trusted pre purchase car inspection in Sharjah and arrange it myself if the seller agrees, and if he doesn’t, walk away. That seems sensible but I want to know how often sellers actually refuse and whether that’s always a bad sign. Has anyone here dealt with a seller who refused inspection and regretted buying anyway, or did you walk and find something better?
