Detailing before selling, does it actually get you a better price?
I’m putting my car up for sale in a few weeks and I keep going back and forth on whether to spend money on a proper detail first. Part of me thinks a clean, shiny car sells faster and justifies a slightly higher asking price, the other part thinks buyers see through it and it’s money I won’t get back. The car isn’t in bad shape, just a bit tired looking, dusty interior, dull paint, some water spots on the glass. I’m near Khalifa City so I’ve been looking at Premium car detailing near Khalifa City to see what it would cost, and I’m trying to work out if the return justifies it. Has anyone detailed their car before selling and noticed a difference in interest or offers? Or did you feel like you wasted the money and the buyer negotiated you down anyway? I’d rather hear real experiences than guess at it.
