  • Who actually makes the battery brand sold in the UAE, and does it matter.

A random conversation at my workplace turned into a small argument yesterday, and nobody could give a real answer, so I thought I would ask here. We were talking about car batteries, and one colleague said that the brand we all see in the shops is made in India, another said it is made in the Gulf now, and a third said the name on the box does not tell you anything about the factory. I drive a 2019 Toyota Fortuner, and my battery is getting close to three years old, so I will need a new one soon and this topic suddenly feels useful. My cousin says it makes no difference where it is made, as long as the shop gives a proper warranty. A friend who sells spare parts told me that the factory, the quality checks and how the battery is made for hot weather matter more than the logo. Another guy said there are special versions for different countries, and that is why the same brand can behave differently in different climates. I did not know that at all. I read a page on to see who stands behind the product, and it explained the company background and where the batteries come from, which was more interesting than I expected, but I still wanted to hear from people who know the trade. That is why I am asking about Premium Amaron batteries and who manufactures them, because I would like to understand it before I pay. My questions are easy. Does the country of manufacture really change how long a battery lasts in our summers? Is there a way to see the factory or batch on the label? Do official importers give a better warranty than small shops? And how can I tell if the one on the shelf is meant for this region and not a leftover from somewhere else? Please share what you know. Thanks for reading.
